We would like to welcome Sacramento Californias Five Victims Four Graves to the Detonate Records family.

'Hailing from the talent rich area of Sacramento, California, Five Victim's Four Graves started in January 2004. They had one goal, to get their music out to the people. With a demo under their belts, they soon caught the attention of many labels and had their debut ep 'Desperation Never Felt So Good' released.

Now after releasing their debut ep they have signed to Detonate Records. Expect new material and release information soon.'

We Will be Releasing Their Debut E.P. Titled "Dead Weather" which will be out by the time the ball drops to ring in the new year. The effort is being mixed/mastered by Eric Broyhill (Deftons, Far, Zao) and artwork is being handled by Sons of Nero.

TOURS AND RECORDINGS

While Signs of Hope have just completed a 40 day National Tour, The Homefront are now hitting the road for some East Coast dates and will make an appearance at this years End of Summer Jam in Florida. Up The Fury are near completion of their new Full Length, A new track will be posted within the coming weeks! Signs of Hope will also be entering the studio to demo some new material.

DETONATE RECORDS WELCOMES........UP THE FURY!

We are very excited to announce that we have Signed Up The Fury from Long Island NY. They will be entering the studio in July to record their upcoming Full Length CD titled "Behind Every Mind". The effort will be mastered by the great Alan Douchess at West West Side, and will be out this fall! here is their bio:

"Today, the hardcore scene parallels the society it chose to stray from.
There are cliques and there are politics. There are elitists and there are
outcasts. Honesty and community are all but a fading signal lost in the
static of values overrun by a social unconsciousness. From the heart of
suburban morals and standards, UP THE FURY delivers grave and insightful
hardcore that provides reassurance to anyone who has felt like they didn’t
fit in… to anyone who has felt like their lives didn’t belong to them.

Hailing from Long Island, New York, UP THE FURY first made an appearance
during the summer of 2005. After recording a demo, the five piece
immediately hit the road, setting out for their first tour which took them
down the east coast and back in under two weeks. Following that summer, UP
THE FURY solidified a full time touring lineup and recorded the “Modern
Culture” EP in the winter of 2006. After months of small weekend tours, the
band set out on a six week tour of the U.S. and Canada, sharing the stage
with such acts as Bane, Blacklisted, Outbreak, This Is Hell, Death Before
Dishonor, The Unseen, Shattered Realm, Ramallah, Internal Affairs, Kill Your
Idols, Verse, Guns Up, Shipwreck, Crime In Stereo, Attitude, Ruiner, Down To
Nothing, Sinking Ships, Kids Like Us, Soldiers, Die Young, and others.

At the start of 2007, German based label Blacktop Records caught wind of the
band and released “Modern Culture” onto a 7”, as well as a repressing of the
CDEP version. During this time, the band began writing new songs and
continued to play out of state, and began to slowly become recognized for
their energetic live performances and tenacity on stage. The path was clear
for UP THE FURY. The band remained the social outcast to a scene now
foreign to them, and the desire to unleash hell on those who turned their
noses up became the essence for what the band stands for.

UP THE FURY will be heading into the studio late July to record their debut
full length titled “Behind Every Mind” which will be released on Detonate
Records in the fall of 2007. Expect to see the band in your town very soon!

Signs of Hope added to Hatebreed/Glassjaw New Years Show / Just back from recent tour.

New York hardcore band STAND TO REASON has signed with Detonate Records. Their ten song debut CD titled "Swords into Ploughshares" is due out in mid-December. Fans of Trial, Madball, Earth Crisis take note. Expect many tour dates to follow the release.

New Signing: The Homefront

The Homefront are a melodic hardcore band out of Massachusetts that plays music in the vein of Modern Life is War/With Honor. Vocalist Justin Paling was in past bands such as Have Heart and Guns Up!. Playing 60 shows in their first year as a band shows just how hard working this group of guys are. Signs of Hope - "First and Foremost" CD OUT NOW!

Hailing from Southern Connecticut, Signs of Hope is a fast and energetic old school hardcore band with a touch of melody. The band was formed in September of 2003 with the intention of playing straight to the point songs loaded with sing-a-longs, mosh parts, and an overlaying positive message. The band's demo quickly earned them a reputation as one of Connecticut's premier acts. The ability to establish themselves as a home state headliner off a six minute demo reflects Signs of Hope's capability to resonate with fans and win the hearts of the hardcore scene. Signs of Hope's debut CD titled "First and Foremost" was released in early Auguest of 2006, immediately followed by a 33 day full U.S. tour! The band is eager to hit the road again, having previously toured the East Coast with acts such as Guns Up!, Shoot to Kill, Outbreak, and Our Final Say.
