Hello everyone, its’ Rob at Detonate Records. Right after our relaunch I had gotten into a car accident that put Detonate on hold for a few months and Lions Write History on hold from shows because I couldn’t move.

Shortly after finally feeling halfway decent I began having health issues (unrelated to accident) that required a few months of hell and eventually surgery (and the removal of an organ). Today is April 25th and I am feeling 100%, all healed and back to normal.

There were a few months of setbacks, but I am the only person working on Detonate now as Paul is in Seattle. I just bought a new house and finished setting up the new Detonate Records headquarters and am excited to pick up where things left off before my illness. Expect more updates!

Blending influences of bands such as Behemoth, Ringworm, Marduk, and Tragedy, its birth child will speak for itself. A misanthropic suicidal foundation assures explosive measures every second of every song. After releasing a few basement quality demos, Ivnier (vox/composer) hit Nexus Studios (Fairfield Connecticut) and recorded the full length “Life of Letdown” by himself. Detonate Records (primarily known as a melodic hardcore label) resurrected with new management & agreed to put out the full length welcoming H.S. into their newly developing and maturing arsenal. Be on the lookout for the record to drop late 2013 and pickup a hard copy.”
